Rick resides in Plainfield, Illinois and recently joined the faculty of North Central College as a part-time professor in Marketing Management. In 2007, he retired from 33 years in the Advertising Agency business, having most recently served as Senior Vice President, Account Director at DDB Chicago. He is also very active in the Plainfield community, owning and managing a commercial building in the heart of the city’s Historic District.
Rick is a 3rd generation Wabash graduate, with father Don ’34 and grandfather Bill ’10 attending before him and helping to make Wabash an integral part of Rick’s entire life. His lifelong love and support of Wabash is exemplified by his service as President of the Board of Directors of the NAWM from 2001 to 2003, and as a Director from 1993 to his election as President. Rick has also served as Class Agent for his Class of ’72 since 1982. He is a member of the 1832 Society. Rick’s other passion, Music, has allowed him to play keyboards in a rock and blues band all over Illinois since 2002. Rick’s two children and three grandchildren all reside in the Chicago area.
