Senior wrestler Rob Arnett has been named the Wabash College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Athlete of the Week for the period ending February 7, 2010.
Arnett posted three individual victories to win the 285-pound weight class during this past weekend’s Mid-States Conference Wrestling Championships held at Wabash College. Two of his three victories were by pin. He won the championship bout by a final score of 5 – 2 over Dylan Forbes from Trine University.
The SAAC Little Giant Player of the Week award is a selective process in which the SAAC board, composed of representative athletes from each varsity sport, votes on players who have been nominated by their coaches, based upon the athlete’s performance during the past week. The Player of the Week award is announced every Tuesday on the Wabash Sports Home page.
