The Wabash indoor track and field team broke four school records Friday evening at the non-scoring Hoosier Hills Meet hosted by Indiana University.

Senior Emmanuel Aouad (right) set new school marks in the 60-meter dash and the 60-meter hurdles. Sophomore Jake Zielinski broke the Wabash record in the 200-meter dash, while the 1600-meter relay team also set a new school mark.
Aouad finished 41st in the 60-meter dash out of a field of 60 athletes from every NCAA Division by posting a record-setting time of 7.38. Devin Kelley finished 45th with a time of 7.44. Vann Hunt was 55th (7.53), while Patrick Posthauer was 58th (7.63).
In the 60-meter hurdles, Aouad crossed the finish line in 8.33 seconds to finish fifth overall while setting the new Wabash mark in the event. Posthauer also competed, finishing 21st with a time of 9.24.
Zielinski placed 24th overall in the 200-meter dash with his record-setting time of 22.83. John Haley was just a fraction off that pace, finishing 29th overall with a time of 22.96. Chet Riddle took 46th place (23.45), Andre Adeymi was 60th (23.83), and Billy Rosson finished 76th (24.88).
Wabash took eighth in a field of 12 teams in the 1600-meter relay, with the quartet of Spencer Sheridan, Garret Bonk, Haley, and Zielinski setting a new Wabash mark with a time of 3:24.78. The Little Giant distance medley team finished third overall, posting a time of 10:18.36.
Wes Chamblee was the top small college runner to finish in the 400-meter dash, grabbing 14th place with a time of 50.33. Bonk finished 31st after finishing in 51.67. Sheridan was 35th (52.06), Riddle took 46th place (52.52), and Adeymi was 53rd (52.92). Justin Allen took 15th in the 3,000-meter run, crossing the finish line in 8:50.24. Kenny Farris added a 39th-place finish (9:19.68), while Micah Milliman took 41st place (9:24.59).
Jake Waterman grabbed seventh place in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:55.69, while teammate Kevin McCarthy was ninth (1:55.85).
Matt Knox added a seventh-place finish in the pole vault, clearing 4.40 meters (14 feet, 5-1/4 inchest). Matt Scheller was 19th in the shot put with a finals mark of 13.45 meters (44 feet, 1-1/2 inches). Joe Granger posted a personal best in the same event, finishing 26th with a mark of 12.90 meters (42 feet, 3-3/4 inches).
Wabash returns to action Saturday at the DePauw Classic in Greencastle, Indiana.
