Ohio Wesleyan scored eight team points in the pentathlon, as did Wittenberg. Kenyon (5), Oberlin (4), and Allegheny (3) also scored in the pentathlon.

The Little Giants won the event while setting a new school record and trimming more than 12 seconds off their best time of the season to that point. The time was also fast enough to earn the group a provisional qualifying spot in the NCAA Division III National Championship Meet.
