Associate Professor of Biology Eric Wetzel has received a GLCA New Directions Initiative grant entitled "Global Health as a New Direction: First Steps" that is supporting some additional travel and some language training while he’s on his sabbatical doing research and service work in Peru. The grant also offers a summer stipend and a chance to try to involve some other faculty in the project.
