Wabash College wrestler Jake Strausbaugh has been named to the D3Wrestle.com All-Freshmen Team.
Strausbaugh was named the top Division III freshman wrestler at 141 pounds by the online site after finishing 41-11 and earning a berth to the 2010 NCAA National Championship Tournament in his first season of competition. Strausbaugh was named the Midwest Regional Most Outstanding Wrestler after winning his weight class. He finished 1-2 at the nationals, losing in the second round of competition to defending national champion Myanganbayar Batsukh from St. John's, who went on to win the weight class to claim his second title.
This is the first year for D3Wrestle.com to announce an All-Freshmen team.
