The Sunday afternoon doubleheader between Wabash College and Wittenberg University has been postponed due to weather and field conditions. The two seven-inning games will now be played on Saturday, April 24 at noon at Mud Hollow Field.
Wabash picked up two wins over Wittenberg on Saturday afternoon in the opening games of the scheduled four-game North Coast Athletic Conference West Division series against the Tigers. Keegan Leckrone and Andrew Swart each picked up their second victories of the season in complete game efforts. John Holm collected five hits, including his seventh home run of the year, to go with five RBI.
The Little Giants are 9-11 for the year and 5-1 in the NCAC West. Wabash will travel to Greencastle, Indiana on Wednesday afternoon to play arch-rival DePauw in a single nine-inning game. The Little Giants return to Mud Hollow Field April 2 and 3 for a four-game non-conference series against Robert Morris-Springfield.
