Senior Kyle Nagdeman fired a second-round 74 on Sunday at the Hanover Spring Golf Invite to earn a tie for eighth place in the final individual honors. Wabash finished fifth out of nine teams overall.
Nagdeman was tied for 24th after shooting an 80 in the first round, but rallied for the fifth-best score out of the 61 golfers participating in Sunday's final 18 holes. His two-day total of 154 tied him with Jarrett Gronauer of Thomas More College.
Charles Kelly and Jordan Koch each tied for 24th place by shooting 161s. Kelly fired a 75 on Saturday, but dropped to an 86 Sunday. Koch trimmed nine strokes off his Saturday score by finishing with a 76 on the final day of competition. Sam Russell tied for 37th (77-88--165), while Luke Moton tied for 51st (87-84--171).
The Little Giants (317-320--637) were in fourth place after Saturday's first round after shooting a 317 as a team, but could not hold off a hard-charging Anderson team that cut 14 strokes off its first round team score with a 307 on Sunday. Thomas More won the team competition with 620 strokes. Franklin was second (625), with Anderson taking third (628). Hanover (632) nipped Wabash for fourth place.
