Wabash sophomore John Holm has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference Baseball Player of the Week for the period ending March 28, 2010.
Holm, a first baseman and designated hitter for the Little Giants, received the honor after batting .500 for the week. He was 6-for-12 from the plate, including a 5-for-8 effort in two wins against NCAC foe Wittenberg. Holm blasted two doubles along with his conference-leading seventh home run of the season. He accounted for five RBI against the Tigers in a 7-1 and 8-0 victory.
Holm is currently tied for second in total hits (27) and runs scored (22) in the NCAC in addition to leading the conference in homers, RBI (29), and total bases (57). He is tied for third in triples (2),
