Wabash competed in two tournaments over a four-day stretch. The Little Giants finished fourth out of six teams at the Katman Klassic hosted by DePauw at Twin Bridges Golf Club in Danville, Indiana on Saturday and Sunday. Wabash was fourth at the Big Four Classic held Thursday at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Indiana.
Kyle Nagdeman rebounded from an 89 Thursday at the Big Four Classic to shoot a 79 on Saturday and a 78 on Sunday, finishing with a two-day total of 157 strokes to tie for 14th place individually at the Katman Klassic. Luke Moton equalled his second-best round of the year, shooting a 158 (86-72) to tie for 16th at the Katman. Jordan Koch (81-79--160) tied for 20th over the weekend, while Sam Russell shot a 161 (83-78) to tie for 24th.
Wabash finished with a total of 634 strokes after cutting 24 strokes of Saturday's 329 to finish with a 305 on Sunday --- the second-lowest round of the season by the team. Wittenberg won the team competition with a total of 592 strokes. DePauw took second (598), followed by Benedictine University of Illinois in third (631). Edgewood was fifth (641), while Manchester took sixth place (661).
DePauw won the Big Four Classic on Thursday with a total of 319 strokes. Butler finished second (321), with Hanover grabbing third place (334). Wabash finished with a total of 344 strokes.
