The Wabash College Board of Trustees has elected three new members, who will serve four-year terms beginning this fall. The Board elected alumni David P. Lewis and Peter C. Wilson, while Alex Miller was elected in balloting by the National Association of Wabash Men.
David Lewis serves Eli Lilly and Company as Vice President-Global Taxes, Chief Tax Executive, and Assistant Treasurer, and is responsible for all aspects of the company’s global tax matters.
A 1981 honors graduate of Wabash College, Lewis is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tax Foundation, as well as both the PhRMA Tax Committee and the Executive/Finance Committee of the Tax Council. He is a member of the boards of directors of The 500 Festival, Cathedral High School, the Tax Council, the Tax Council Policy Institute, and the Indiana Fiscal Policy Institute.
He serves on the Executive Committee of the Host Committee for Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis in 2012. Lewis earned his law degree from Indiana University.
Peter Wilson is President of Pyromation, Inc., a manufacturer of thermostatic controls and temperature sensing devices in Fort Wayne, Indiana. A 1984 graduate of Wabash College, Wilson earned his master’s degree in business administration from Indiana University.
He formally served Wabash on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Wabash Men, and he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Canterbury School in Fort Wayne.
Alex Miller is a Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Systems Integration and Software Development business unit of L-3 Communications.
He joined L-3 in 2005 after retiring as a Rear Admiral in the U.S. Navy, for which he served as a cryptologist for over 33 years. Miller, a 1971 Wabash graduate, received an honorary doctorate from Wabash College in 2006.
Bob Grand was re-elected to serve a second term as an Alumni Trustee in balloting by the NAWM.
