UPDATE:
Both directions of Interstate 64 in East St. Louis will be closed for a weekend next month to allow crews to remove the bridge carrying 15th Street over I-64.
The closures will be from 9 p.m. Oct. 8 to 5 a.m. Oct. 11, weather permitting, from west of Illinois 111 to the I-64/55/70 split.
Traffic will be detoured around the construction area using Interstate 255 and Interstate 55/70. No westbound traffic on I-64 will be allowed west of Illinois 111; no eastbound traffic will be allowed east of the Interstate 64/55/70 split.
The St. Louis Association of Wabash Men will host a pre-game tailgate before the Wabash - Washington University football game on October 9, 2010. The tailgate will be located at Fontbonne University, adjacent to the Washington University campus.
The tailgate will be a no-host tailgate - please bring food and beverage sufficient for those in your party.

Time: 11:00AM CDT, Noon, Indiana time. Kickoff will be at 1:00PM CDT, 2:00PM Indiana time.
Location: Fontbonne University parking lot. Fontbonne University, a drug and alcohol free campus, is located on the southeast corner of Big Bend and Wydown Boulevard (6800 Wydown Boulevard). We will be meeting in a parking lot and greenspace on the Fontbonne Campus accessed from Big Bend Boulevard, just south of Wydown. The Washington University football field is located 3 or 4 blocks north of the parking lot - approximately a 1/3 mile away and we will walk to the game.
Directions:
Approaching from Indiana/Illinois: Take I-70 West towards downtown St. Louis. As you approach St. Louis, you will merge onto Interstate 64. Take Interstate 64 west through downtown St. Louis to exit 33B (Big Bend). Turn right (north) onto Big Bend and go approximately 3/4 of a mile. Fontbonne University will be on your right and you will turn directly into the parking lot. If you cross Wydown Boulevard, you have gone too far.
Approaching from the West: Take Interstate 64 east to exit 33 (Big Bend). Turn left (north) onto Big Bend and go north approximately 3/4 of a mile. Fontbonne University will be on your right and turn directly into the parking lot. If you cross Wydown Boulevard, you have gone too far.
