Sophomore midfielder Ryan Fier has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week after helping the Little Giants to victories over Wittenberg and Wooster to close out the 2010 season.
Fier scored both goals in Wabash's 2-0 victory at Wittenberg last Wednesday. The win snapped a six-game losing streak for the Little Giants, and was the first victory in Springfield, Ohio since a 1-0 double-overtime victory by Wabash in 2004. Fier added two assists in Saturday's 4-1 season finale over Wooster.
