Wabash freshman David Phillips has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week.
Phillips, who competed at Heritage Christian High School in Indianapolis, Indiana before coming to Wabash, scored three individual victories in the Little Giants' dual meet last Wednesday against DePauw University. Phillips earned the first of his three victories by winning the 1000 free with a time of 10:03.11. His second win came in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:59.84 before adding a third victory in the 500 free (4:53.96). Phillips also was part of the Little Giants' third-place 200-yard freestyle relay team.
