Senior guard Wes Smith has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the period ending November 22.
Smith (left) received the weekly award along with being named the Little Giant Tipoff Classic Most Valuable Player after averaging 28 points to lead all scorers over two games. Smith scored a season-high 30 points in Friday night's 73-58 victory over Earlham College. He also grabbed five rebounds, made three steals and handed out one assist. He scored 26 Saturday against Franklin in a 96-55 win to go with four steals, two rebounds, one blocked shot, and one assist. Smith started the season with an 18-point, eight rebound effort against Marian University to help Wabash open the season 3-0 after winning 66-51. He also had five steals and one block against the Knights.
