Shreve entered Wabash College on a Lilly Scholarship, a full scholarship awarded for leadership potential and ability. During his undergraduate career he was a member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity where he served as president, recording secretary, messenger, webmaster, songmaster, and house, scholarship, and grievance committee chairman. He also was a member of the Interfraternity Council and Historical Society (serving as vice present and treasurer).
Shreve was a varsity letter winner in wrestling. He edited the College's humor magazine and was a member of the Board of Publications. His awards include the Robert S. Harvey Journalism Award, IMA/IFC Leadership Award, Phi Kappa Psi Summerfield Scholarship, Indiana Gamma Outstanding Academic Senior Award, Interfraternity Council Leadership (Man of the Year Award, and Phi Kappa Psi Most Outstanding Senior Award. He also was a member of the Sphinx Club and served as the College's mascot. He will serve the Class of 2002 as a class agent and will attend the University of Cincinnati Medical School next fall.
Shreve is the son of William and Bonnie Shreve, 2774 Deerhaven Drive, Cincinnati.
