Honors continue to roll in for Wabash senior guard Wes Smith, who has been named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware.
Smith earned the honor after leading the Little Giants to three wins last week over Hanover, Otterbein, and Randolph-Macon. He was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the second consecutive week by averaging 27 points in addition to handing out five assists, recording three blocked shots, and making four steals. He was named the Pete Thorn Invitational Most Valuable Player, scoring a season-best 34 points in the opening round win over Otterbein before adding 27 points in the Little Giants' 60-45 over previously second-ranked Randolph-Macon.
