White Honored With NCAC Weekly Award

Junior Donavan White has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Distance Runner of the Week for his efforts at the 2011 Tiger Invitational on Saturday.

White won the mile run with a time of 4:24.36, the fifth-quickest time turned in by an NCAC runner this season in the event. He added a fourth-place finish in the 800-meter run by finishing in 1:58.25, trailing All-American teammates Kevin McCarthy and Jake Waterman. White's efforts helped Wabash finish fourth out of 12 teams at Saturday's meet, hosted by DePauw University. The Little Giant squad was second among Division III schools competing at the event.
