Rick is Associate General Counsel - Litigation for Duke Energy. He received his J.D. from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Rick served two terms as President of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation and served on the Board of Managers of the Indianapolis Bar Association. Rick is a Distinguished Fellow of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation and a Master Fellow of the Indiana Bar Foundation. He is a past President of the Indianapolis Association of Wabash Men and continues to serve the College as a volunteer for: WABASH Day, Admissions, Moot Court, Wabash Fraternity Advisors group, and other activities. Alumni – Admission Fellow. He serves as the Reunion chair for the Class of 1976. Rick is President of the Wabash College Phi Gamma Delta Association. He and his wife Patti live in Indianapolis. They have two children, Caitlin, a 2009 DePauw graduate and 2011 master’s degree candidate in Psychology at IUPUI and Sean, a freshman majoring in computer science and software engineering at Rose-Hulman. Rick is a member of the 1832 Society.
