The Wabash cross country team has been named to the US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association 2010 All-Academic Team. The Little Giant squad posted a cumulative grade point average of 3.46 to receive the national honors.
Teams must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.10 and compile a team score at the NCAA Division III Cross Country regional race. The Little Giants finished second at the Great Lakes Regional, qualifying for the nationals for the first time in 11 seasons. Wabash took 13th place at the championship event, with senior Seth Einterz finishing 20th overall to receive All-America honors.
The 3.46 cumulative GPA for Wabash tied for 18th-best among the 125 programs recognized as All-Academic teams by the USTFCCCA.
