Wabash freshman Wade Miller has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week.
The Crawfordsville High School graduate received the award after posting a 2-0 record in singles play on Saturday, helping Wabash to a pair of wins to improve to 13-5 overall for the season and 2-0 against NCAC West Division teams. The Little Giants defeated conference foe Wittenberg 7-2 before scoring a 5-4 win against Calvin College.
Miller combined with Daniel Delgado to go 2-0 at number one doubles for the Little Giants, as well. Miller and Daniel Delgado won 8-5 against Wittenberg and 8-6 against Calvin.
Miller earned a pair of 6-1, 6-1 victories in singles. He played at number four singles against Wittenberg before moving up to the second flight against Calvin. Miller is 13-3 overall this season in singles dual matches.
