Reading Riddles: Rhetorics of Obscurity From Romanticism to Freud, by Associate Professor of German Brian Tucker ’98, was published in December 2010 by Bucknell University Press. Several of the book’s chapters have served as the basis for a class Tucker teaches on “Freud and the Question of Interpretation.”

 
Professor of History Stephen Morillo’s chapter titled “The Ent Wives: Investigating the Spiritual Core of Lord of the Rings,” is included in The Ring and the Cross: Christianity in the Writings of J.R.R. Tolkien, published by Fairleigh Dickinson University Press in March.
 
Assistant Professor of English Eric Freeze’s essay, “Bolt,” was published in the Spring 2011 edition of The Normal School, while his story “Francis the Giant” was published in the Spring/Summer 2011 edition of The Tampa Review, and “Dummy” was published online at Joyland Magazine.
 
Professor of English Tobey Herzog’s chapter, “Critical Angles: Reading Soldier-Author Tim O’Brien and Going After Cacciato,” is included in Approaches to Teaching the Works of Tim O’Brien, published by the Modern Language Association in December 2010.
