Sign painter and Orthodox iconographer Jerome Sanderson of Indianapolis applies gold leaf on to the letters marking the entrance to Trippet Hall, the recently completed home of the Center of Inquiry in the Liberal Arts at Wabash College, as well as the College's admissions and financial aid offices.
The building, named after Byron K. Trippet '30, Rhodes Scholar, the College's ninth president, and an extraordinarily articulate spokesman for the liberal arts, will be dedicated during the College's Homecoming festivities on October 5.
Speaking at the dedication ceremonies will be Wabash President Andrew T. Ford and Trustee Emeritus Richard O. Ristine ’41. Twelve members of Trippet's family will be present, as will representatives of Lilly Endowment Inc., which provided funding for the Center of Inquiry in the Liberal Arts.
