The Wabash College community will remember the tragedy of 9/11 on the 10th anniversary of the Terrorist attacks in Pennsylvania, New York, and Washington, D.C.
On Sunday, September 11, Wabash will screen the award-winning documentary "9/11" at 5 p.m. in Korb Classroom of the Fine Arts Center. The event is sponsored by the History Department and the Dean of the College's Office.
The documentary film "9/11" was originally broadcast on CBS in March 22. Filmmakers Jules and Gedeon Naudet had planned to follow NYC firefighter Tony Benetatos at Manhattan's Duane Street Firehouse — seven blocks from what would become Ground Zero. The filmmakers captured stunning images and videos of the terrorist attacks, and wove a narrative that honors those heroes and victims from one of the worst days in American history.
