Wabash College is pleased to announce an exciting, interactive opportunity for the College’s alumni and friends to learn about new people and programs. “Wabash Wednesday” will feature live, monthly video conversations with members of the Wabash community.
The program will be streamed live over the Internet and provides opportunities for alumni and friends to interact via email, Facebook, and Twitter.
“We are excited about the new Wabash Wednesday program,” said Dean for Advancement Joe Emmick ’92. “It is a chance for Wabash to share its stories and its people in an interactive way with a national alumni audience. We have a terrific regional alumni association program and many alumni are not always able to participate in those events due to work and family schedules. We hope Wabash Wednesdays will allow our regular event attendees to engage with Wabash in a different way and we hope it will attract those alumni who are not always able to be with us in person.”
The first Wabash Wednesday noontime conversation will be Wednesday, September 14 from 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. EDT.
Join Sports Information Director Brent Harris as he chats with Joe Haklin ’73, who became Wabash’s Director of Athletics and Campus Wellness on July 1. He’ll talk with Joe about the completion of Wabash’s $6 million outdoor athletics and recreation facilities projects; his experiences as a multi-sport Academic All-American student-athlete; and his vision for a campus wellness program.
“Wabash Wednesday is designed to bring life at Wabash right to you via your computer,” said Tom Runge ’71, Director of Alumni and Parent Relations. “Our goals are to share with you the latest campus news and offer you the opportunity to be actively involved in the discussion.”
