Dallas Wabash Day was a success in many ways. Our group helped prepare over 11,400 meals for children at the North Texas Food Bank. The meals require no cooking and may be prepared entirely by a hungry child. Despite unexpected physical labor, no injuries were sustained from our team of Jim Chatt, Patrick Craine, Mike Gregory, John Kegerreis, Jim and Yvonne McDaniel, Dan Susie, and Jim and Lynn Thomas. Jim and Yvonne McDaniel started the project with their daughter in labor and left to meet Lydia - their first grandchild. The day was enjoyable and meaningful for all involved.
