The Morning Shift - Morning Dove Therapeutic Riding of Zionsville offers equine-assisted therapy services to a wide range of participants with physical, mental and/or emotional disabilities. Morning Dove recently moved into a beautiful new facility that will allow them to enhance and expand the services they provide. As with most moves, there were a number of items that were placed out of the way on the second level of the barn to be sorted out and organized later. Our team of mighty Little Giants spent several hours helping Morning Dove to consolidate storage areas, organize their equipment, and dispose of trash and other unneeded items. We also assisted the staff by moving 55-60 bales of hay from the loft to the main floor of the barn. The two youngest members of our group, Sophie Quick and Annadel Benedict, worked with Morning Dove's Barn Manager to feed and love all of the horses. It was a great day of hard work and Morning Dove truly appreciated our efforts.

The Afternoon Shift: Field of Dreams - Zionsville alumni and family members dreamed of open spaces and baseball diamonds surrounded by bean fields. There were no corn fields; no Kevin Costner; no "Shoeless" Joe Jackson; but a "field of dreams" nevertheless.
The baseball diamonds at the Zionsville Boys & Girls Club needed some help to become the field of dreams of Zionsville area youth. Over the course of the season, the diamonds became pitted with low spots and ruts. Every infielder's worst nightmare is a sharply hit grounder that takes a bad hop right into the infielder's nose. We did our level best to remove such fears by filling in the ruts with top soil and ready the diamonds for over-seeding.
Thanks to the hard work of the following crew we were able to unload and spread no less than 40 tractor loads of top soil:
