Senior Homer Twigg told a packed house about his exploration of the Wabash River. "I had to figure out a way to bring the river alive in this project," Twigg said. "So I focused on the people who lived along the river—learning to love the “river rats,” and the river rat in myself.” Twigg also paid tribute to his mentor on the project, the late Mike Bachner ’70.

Senior Steve Egan opened his presentation on Indiana Amish communities with a short film. "I didn't get a chance to study abroad during my Wabash career," Egan said. "But this project, in a positive way, is about as close as you can get to studying abroad without leaving the United States."
