Wabash IT Services and the Wabash Environmental Concerns Committee sponsored our second annual Crawfordsville Community Computer Recycle Day on October 11.
Larry Smith, of Smith Family Trucking in Crawfordsville, donated the use of a semi trailer, and will transport the donated items to Indianapolis.
Jamie Ross, IT Services Office Manager, talks with Tom Gray of RecycleForce. Jamie organized the recycle day for Wabash.
Gary Leonard, Wabash Campus Services, loads up the semi trailer.
The crew from RecycleForce in Indianapolis catch their breath while waiting for the next load.
They didn't have to wait long, as traffic was steady all day.
Some people brought more than others. Jim Pond, IT Services Systems Maintenance Technician, calls for reinforcements!
That's a LOT of keyboards!
Gary Leonard takes another load to the truck.
The semi truck is just about full...
Mike Heinold, IT Services Desktop Systems Analyst (left), listens while Tom Gray of RecycleForce describes how they will squish all of the donated equipment into the truck.
