Ensemble Chaconne
Chris Henriksen introduces Ensemble Chaconne and gives background
information on Shakespeare's many references to music. Shakespeare's
time period was the focus of their music while at Wabash. The group
performs period-instrument music from the Renaissance and Baroque Europe.
Carol Lewis describes the differences and similarities of the viola da
gamba, the cello, and the guitar. The group gave a special pre-concert
lecture and mini performance for students, faculty, and staff before the
main concert.
Peter Bloom plays one of his three historical flutes.
