2009 Celebrating Scholarships Luncheon
Junior Sam Prellwitz gave one of two keynote speeches at the 2009
Celebrating Scholarships Luncheon, which allows donors of Wabash's
scholarships to meet the student recipients. Prellwitz has been awarded
the Nancy A. and Wayne E. Stanberry Scholarship.
Luke Messer ’91 gave one of two keynote speeches at the 2009 Celebrating
Scholarships Luncheon. Messer received the Brian Bosler Overseas
Memorial Scholarship as an undergraduate at Wabash.
Dean for College Advancement Joe Emmick ’92 served as master of
ceremonies for the luncheon.
Wabash President Pat White thanked the donors — the College's alumni and
friends — for their gifts that allow Wabash to provide generous
scholarship and financial aid packages.
Sophomore Ben Burkett is the recipient of a Sybil and Herman Davis
Scholarship.
Senior Blaine Cooper-Surma is the recipient of the Austin H. Brown
Scholarship.
Sophomore Jacob Surface receives scholarship support from the John
Charles Rafferty Fund.
Longtime friend of the College Tony Kashon hosted a table at the
Celebrating Scholarships Luncheon.
Michal Opieczonek ’09 is the recipient of the Paul Caylor McKinney ’52
Memorial Scholarship.
The T-Tones, a subgroup of the Wabash College Glee Club, entertained the
audience at this year's Celebrating Leadership Luncheon.
