the Baccalaureate Service.
Reverend Edward "Monk" Malloy, President Emeritus of the University of
Notre Dame, gave the Baccalaureate Sermon to members of the Class of
2009 and their families in the Wabash College Chapel
Associate Professor of Religion David Blix gave the invocation at the
Baccalaureate Service.
Graduating senior David Herr took a turn at the organ and played Toccata
on "Regent Square" as one of the prelude pieces before the Baccalaureate
Service began.
Members of the Class of 2009 — like art major Mark Turpin — processed
into the overflowing Pioneer Chapel.
With their senior mates joining them, the Wabash College Glee Club sang
"For All the Saints" to welcome the Class of 2009 to the Baccalaureate
Service.

College's 171st Commencement, is flanked by Wabash Trustees Dudley
Burgess and Mac McNaught.
Long-time Wrestling Coach and Director of Athletics Max Servies attended
the Baccalaureate Service prior to receiving an honorary Doctor of
Humane Letters degree from Wabash. Servies coached at Wabash for 40
years.
