Tony Dowell was so proud as the chair of the 50th reunion gift committee
that his class reached its $1 million goal for their reunion gift... and
then some!

record-setting reunion for the Class of 1959. The class had the highest
percentage return for a 50th reunion in Big Bash history.
Men from the Class of 1969 have a great head start on their 50th reunion
gift. The class is starting 10 years early with a seed gift of over
$100,000, and they are excited about the possibilities of their 50th
reunion gift.
After more than 70 members of the Class of 1959 had received their 50th
reunion medallions from President White, a group of former Glee Club
members entertained the crowd.
Bob Nelson ’59 was the Class of ’59 Glee Club director at the Big Bash
Banquet.
Art Fontanes entertained the record crowd at the Big Bash Banquet by
singing the solo parts of "If You Marry an Ugly Woman." The crowd was in
stitches!

The evening belonged to the Class of 1959 — with a record turnout for
their 50th reunion and a $1 million check to the College. But that
didn't keep Jon Pactor ’71 from having fun with his son, Jacob ’04, and
Jacob's classmates.
The Class of 1959 Glee Club has people on their feet singing the chorus
of "Old Wabash."
