WABASH Day — Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
Members of Theta Delta Chi fraternity pose with American Cancer Society staff and local volunteers at the conclusion of Montgomery County's first-ever Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. The College hosted the event as part of WABASH Day, and more than 250 walkers raised more than $32,000 to fight breast cancer. The Theta Delts who pitched in were Michael Hodge, Michael Wittman, Jordan Ferguson, Joe Granger, Matt Meyer, Jake Moore, Chris Zabriskie, and Bill Birch.
Just how many balloons does it take to lift a Theta Delt off the ground? Each guy passed out well over 100 balloons for the ceremonial launch to start the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. The men under the balloons are Jordan Ferguson and Jake Moore.
It was cold, windy, and wet at Byron P. Hollett Little Giant Stadium, but the weather didn't deter more than 250 people from taking part in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk.

Laura Menard sang the National Anthem at Hollett Stadium to start the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on Saturday. She is the wife of American Idol finalist Luke Menard, who is a Crawfordsville native. (Luke sang the National Anthem at the Indy Colts' game against Seattle the next day.)
