There were over 25 men working at the football field Thursday morning.
This worker trims the cement drain that was poured along the perimeter of the field.
The finished product for the drains. The turf field will have just enough grade for rainwater runoff.
Metal forms were used to hold the concrete drains in place. This worker cleans the forms before removing them from the field.
The hole to the left of this drain will connect one of the many trench drains that will run under the TurfField.
Located on the visitor sideline, this trench will eventually serve as the site for the long jump runway and pit.
A few of the pipes that will be installed.
This is one of the old sewers, located on the northeast corner of the field. These will be capped several feet below the grade and covered with Turf.
One of the new cement sewers that will be placed in the corners of the field.
This new drain provided by Millennium Concrete was made specially for Wabash, judging from the print on the concrete.
New supplies are arriving every day. The project is anticipated to be completed by August 9th.
