The large steel structure will hold the new scoreboard soon to be put in place.

The new scoreboard has arrived and waits to be unboxed and mounted the opposite end of the field from where the old board stood for years.

Campus services will be removing the iconic Hollett Little Giant sign and cleaning it up. Check back for more on the old sign soon!

Putting the enormous amount of gravel down on the field is a time consuming task. The work crew was nearing the halfway point Tuesday morning.

The track jumping pits have been poured and final work is being completed on the field's drainage tiles.

Believe it or not, this photo is looking from the right field line down near where homeplate will be at the new baseball facility. Crews are now working on the baseball site daily with drainage work the first order of business.

While the bulldozer uses a laser level to make certain the field is level, the road roller compacts the stone --- one of the final steps before the turf is ready to be put in place. 

Two new play clocks have already been installed at each end of the field.
