Chris Widup threw 8-1/3 strong innings for Wabash. He scattered seven hits and held Ohio Wesleyan to two runs while striking out eight batters.
Montana Timmons drilled a two-run double down the left field line to put Wabash in front early.
Joe Johnson drilled this pitch to the left-center field gap, scoring two more runs for the Little Giants. Johnson joined Montana Timmons, Robby Hechinger, Chris Widup, and John Holm on the All-NCAC Tournament Team.
Ohio Wesleyan tried to score on a single to left, but a great throw from Montana Timmons to PJ Tyson cut the runner down at the plate.
Luke Zinsmaster came into the game to get the final two outs. He closed out the championship with a strikeout.

Head Coach Cory Stevens is all smiles even after getting drenched by his players while celebrating the 2011 NCAC championship. Stevens guided the Little Giants to their first conference title since joining the NCAC in 2000 and the first since winning the HCAC title in 1998.
