Before breaking for lunch, orientation leaders, Wabash faculty and staff joined in a singing of "Old Wabash." They also assured the young men they would know the song by tomorrow night's Presidential Ice Cream Reception.

Scott Hastings, Warminster, PA., had a partner in staining on the far end of the bridge from the rest of the group.
Indianapolis resident Terry Majors grabbed a roller to stain the bridge visited by runners, walkers, and bikers.

Several of the garden plots had been abandoned. The freshmen cleaned up all the plots and will take the vegetables from the abandoned areas to the Community Food Pantry for distribution.
