Friends, family and Wabash Men volunteered to help make the 2012 Special Olympics Basketball Tournament a great success.
Wally's were refereeing from 8am until 6pm.
There were upwards of 65 teams that signed up to play throughout the day.
Games were intense from start to finish.
Student Jeromy Sisk '13 organized most of the volunteers.
Athletic Director Joseph Haklin also came out to lend a hand.
Some simple reminders kept games going from start to finish.
Volunteers couldn't help but notice what fabulous defense teams played.
Official referee meeting.
Running the court!
Throughout the day free-throws usually hit nothing but the bottom of the net,
So much love and support from family and friends!
Taking the ball out.
Even Dr. Horton got in on some refereeing action.
Dr. Horton brought about an almost fatherly way of refereeing. Players loved him!
Dean Raters made it too!
Deans Raters might have looked a little too official.
The day was marked by happy families, happy volunteers and an overall great day.
