Our group takes a break before heading to the Campo
The Campo was jamed with 15,000-20,000 locals to see who would run in the famous Palio horse race.
The trumpets sound the first announcement.
The flag of the first Contrada selected to run in July's race is hung outside city hall window to the roar of the crowd.
Moments later the Drago contingent learn they'll have a hjorse in the race.
When all is said and done, the 10 flags at the bottom represent the Contradas in the race and those at the top must wait until August's second race or next year.

During dinner this young man from Texas interrupted dinner to ask Bill if he wasn't the man behind a DVD he had watched in College. He was thrilled to meet the author and narrator. Cook said the DVD has been successful beyond his wildest dreams, selling more than 44,000 copies.
