Larry Pollitt, husband of FISH Pantry Director Ann Pollitt, thanks the Wabash freshmen for their work. 'These good young men finish in an hour what has taken me a whole day to finish in the past,' Pollitt said.

Larry Pollitt thanks the freshmen. Of the needs served by the FISH Pantry, Pollitt said, 'You just don't realize how many people in this community cannot afford clothing, for themselves or for their children, even their babies.'

Jake Harmon ’16 finished his work early at the Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church, so asked what else he could do to help. Here he weeds the church's window wells, so they'll be weed-free by the time the Church's preschool starts tomorrow.

One group of freshmen worked at the Community Garden just south of Crawfordsville. While weeds haven't been an issue for much of the summer with so little rain, the heavy rain during the last few weeks has encouraged rapid growth. Sue Lucas with Sustainable Indiana commented, "The Wabash men transformed the garden. It looks wonderful."
