He said, 'For over ten years now, we have benefitted from your tireless work ethic, creative talent, high level of organization, quick wit, kind heartedness and leadership on campus.'

Said Steve Klein, 'Beyond the dozens of student she recruited from her territory, hundreds of other young men and their parents were drawn to Wabash by well run visit days and scholarship programs organized and run by Jamie. She gave those students the opportunity to picture themselves here.'

Dean of Students Mike Raters speaks fondly of retiring director of academic support services Julia Rosenberg, saying 'You have been passionate, outspoken, perceptive, and relentless in your efforts to make certain Wabash College educates all of her students – and, yes, all of her professionals - to think more critically, act more responsibly, lead more effectively, and especially live more humanely.'
Tobey Herzog, professor of English and the Anderw & Anne Ford Chair in the Liberal Arts, listens to his retirement presentation after 38 years on campus. Said colleague Warren Rosenberg, 'Tobey is a popular and masterful teacher. Most of his classes are, year in and year out, some of the first to close during registration. Students are and have always been eager to take a Herzog class.'
