Class of 2018 Ringing In Ceremony
'Welcome students to Wabash College. From this day forward you will be forever known as Wabash men,' said President Gregory D. Hess.
The first member of the Class of 2018 to arrive in the balcony of Pioneer Chapel was Logan Kleiman of Evansville, Ind.
Friends old and new crossed paths in Pioneer Chapel on Saturday.
'Welcome to a college that will inspire you, educate you, and develop you,' said President Hess.
'Wabash is not only different in that it's a college for men. It's different in the kind of men it produces,' said Greg Estell '85.
Could this be a future Little Giant, Class of 2024, perhaps?
'You will discover how to learn from and teach your peers. How to lead and how to follow, with the intellect and guts to know when to do each,' said Estell.
Jonathan Montoya is a proud member of the Class of 2018.
There were plenty of smiles in the balcony Saturday.
'We will all be there to support you, push you, educate you in the classroom and out,' Dean of Students Mike Raters '85.

'This is Wabash -- and it's the results that matter,' said Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid Steve Klein.

'You will be expected to think independently and judge thoughtfully,' said Hess.
Twenty states and 15 foreign countries are represented in the Class of 2018.
Fifty-two members of the Class of 2018 are legacies and 15 have brothers who are alumni or current students.
My son is a Wabash Man now.
