Homecoming Chapel begins the same way every year - 'Old Wabash' led by the Glee Club.

Jeffrey Soller ’12 was named an Alumni Admissions Fellow. Jeffrey works tirelessly to introduce students from south Texas to Wabash. He has even brought students on visits to campus. Already two of his students have matriculated to Wabash.

Oscar Torres ’01 was unable to be on campus to accept his Alumni Admissions Fellow award. Senior Associate Director of Admissions Walter Blake accepted the award on Torres' behalf. Blake recruited Torres - the first student to attend Wabash from the Rio Grande Valley.

Martin Brown ’06 was named the Alumni Career Services Fellow. Brown works closely with the Schroeder Center for Career Development to prepare students for life after Wabash.

Ray Jovanovich ’84 was honored for his philanthropic work which was evident as early as his student days and continues to span the globe.

James Dimos ’83 received the Clarence A. Jackson Career Service Award. Dimos, a 'super lawyer' in Indiana has accumulated a track record of great success. The current president of the Indiana Bar Association represents the highest ideals of College as he lives out the mission to think critically, act responsibility, lead effectively, and live humanely in all aspects of his legal career.

James Smith H’50 and Susan Smith H’75 listen as their citations were read. The Smiths had four sons that attended Wabash and were active in service to the Crawfordsville and Wabash College communities.

Herbert Stern H’62, a forty year member of the Wabash English faculty, is congratulated by President Gregory Hess as he is named Honorary Alum of Wabash.

Stern H’62 retired from Wabash in 1997 but is still a prolific writer having published poetry and several books since then.
