Honorary Degree Recipient Remington Johnston ’55: 'You inspire confidence in Wabash men from your first handshake through life’s greatest challenges. You invited many hundreds of Wabash men to sumptuous meals, during which you taught them lessons in classical music, travel, theater, and fast cars. While you had no children of your own, it would be impossible to count the number of Wabash alumni who call you 'surrogate father.”'

Your voice has never been the loudest in the room; your influence is most often felt in private meetings and in close conversations about the highest aspirations for our College.
