Big Bash 2022 - Awards Brunch
The 1928 Attendance Trophy winner goes to the class with the largest number of men returning to their reunion. The Class of 1972 is this year's winner with 50 alumni in attendance. The Class of 1972 also won the Edmund O. Hovey Annual Giving Award which recognizes the reunion class with the highest percentage of their class to be donors this year.
The 1909 Trophy Cup goes to the class with the highest percentage of alumni present. With 26.1% of their class returning, the winner of the 1909 Trophy is the Class of 1972. The Class of 2007 Award is presented to the 5, 10, or 15 year reunion class with the highest turnout. Winning the Class of 2007 Award is the Class of 2012 with 19 members returning.
The Dorman Hughes ’43 Award started in 2004. It is named for Dorman Hughes, Class of 1943, a legendary class agent and active alumnus on and off campus. It is awarded by the alumni office staff to the class agent who puts forth the best effort of organizing his class‘s reunion. Class agent Rick Fobes and reunion chair John Bridge from the Class of 1972 are this year's winners.
