Fraternity Day
Fraternities have been a part of the Wabash fabric since 1846, To further strengthen Wabash fraternities, the Inter-Fraternity Council (IFC) and Wabash Fraternity Advisors (WFA) established Wabash Fraternity Day in 2013 as a day to celebrate and elevate fraternity life on campus. Event emcees were Jon Pactor '71 (left), representing the WFA, and Brett Driscoll, IFC President.
The program consisted of lunch, addresses from representatives of each of Wabash's 10 national fraternities, an update on the state of fraternities by Dean of Students Greg Redding '88, a roundtable discussion session, and a presentation of fraternity awards.
Brad Johnson '23 (left) of Phi Gamma Delta accepts the Senior Class Impact Award from Sherry Ross (center) and Greg Redding. The award, which goes to the fraternity whose senior class has shown the most positive impact on campus and beyond through the following criteria: academic achievement, percentage of seniors relative to their freshman class, campus involvement, charitable and community service, and innovation of campus clubs.
Redding annnounced at the event that the award would now be named after Ross, a longtime Wabash staff member in the Dean of Students Office who is retiring at the conclusion of this academic year.

Given since 2014, the award recognizes a senior Wabash fraternity man who best represents the ideals of his fraternity and the best characteristics of a gentleman and responsible citizen.
