The incoming group of Snodell Scholars will be part of the Class of 2027 when they report to campus in August.
The cohort was honored at the Snodell Scholarship Reception, April 30, where they received their scholarship certificates. The scholarships are a gift of Walt '68 and Kathy Snodell.
The Snodells established the scholarship program in 2018 as part of the Greater Chicagoland Initiative, which was designed to help the College with recruitment and enrollment efforts in a region that Walt and Kathy both call home.
The Greater Chicagoland Initiative focuses on four components: scholarships; a Chicago-based admissions counselor; marketing; and support for recruitment events, outreach for students in Chicago, its suburbs, southern Wisconsin, and eastern Iowa. The awards, for up to $10,000, are annually renewable for four years.
