Description: 1st half semester course. This course will provide students with a strong foundation in the Python coding for chemistry applications. No prior programming experience is required. Students will learn to process and visualize various chemical and biochemical data using Python. Topics will include plotting data, performing simulations, storing, viewing, and modifying chemical structures, and performing bioinformatic sequence analyses of proteins.
