Writing Fellows Program
The Wabash College Writing Fellows Program provides students with highly-focused support for their writing in select courses.
Each Writing Fellow is a Writing Consultant who conducts additional training regarding how to make effective in-text comments and end comments. After receiving training, they are assigned to a course, and meet with all of the students taking that course throughout the semester. Writing Fellows read and comment on drafts before meeting with each student. After meeting with the Writing Fellow, the student then revises and submits their assignment to the professor.
Courses are selected based on faculty interest. Each semester the Writing Center Director sends out emails to solicit courses for the following semester. The Director and faculty members then discuss how the program needs to work and coordinate to build a schedule for each Writing Fellow.
If you have any questions, or are interested in having a Writing Fellow in your course, please email Dr. Koppelmann.
